In accordance with the requirements of Administrative measures for the treatment of waste oils and fats from catering and kitchen (SHIZHENGFU [2012] No.97), the catering service providers outputting waste oils and fats shall install grease-water separators conforming to the requirements. Shanghai Food Safety Federation, jointly with the concerned research institutes, industrial associations, test agencies, manufacturers and users, develops this association standard with view to standardizing the technical requirements of grease-water separators in catering, improving product quality and technical level, and offering the technical basis for the purchase, installation and daily use of grease-water separators by catering service providers. This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1 and GB/T 20004.1. Annex A hereto is normative while Annexes B and C are informative. Shanghai Food Safety Federation and Shanghai Institute of Measurement and Testing Technology proposed this standard and are responsible for the organizing the implementation hereof. This standard is under the jurisdiction of Shanghai Food Safety Federation. This standard was firstly issued on April 24, 2019. Grease-water separator in catering 1 Scope This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, operating instructions, packaging, transportation and storage of grease-water separators in catering (hereinafter referred to as "grease-water separator").
