1 Scope This Standard specifies dimensions, shape, weight and permissible tolerances, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, package, marking and quality certificate with regards to the steel plates and strips for welded gas cylinders. This Standard is applicable to hot rolled steel plates and strip with a thickness of 2.0 mm ~ 14.0 mm, and cold rolled steel plate and strip with a thickness of 1.5 mm ~ 4.0 mm which are intended for welded gas cylinders. 2 Normative References The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this Standard.
