The main differences compared with GB/T 15107-2005 are: --Revised application scope of standard; --Revised product classification; --Deleted main component’s suggestion thickness; --Added, deleted and revised appearance quality test items; --Revised peeling test methods; --Revised adhesive performance test methods; --Revised other physical and mechanical performance requirement; --Added the requirements of critical substance; --Revised product judgments. --Inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage directly adopt QB/T 1187 Footwear—principle of inspection and marking, package, transportation, storage. Attention is drawn to the possibility that some of the elements of this standard may be the subject of patent rights. Athletic shoes 1 Scope This standard specifies product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage of athletic shoes. This standard is applicable to athletic shoes, training shoes, exercise shoes, walking shoes, jogging shoes and etc. for general use, exclusive of professional athletic shoes. 2 Normative references The following reference documents are indispensable for the application of this document. Footwear products claimed to be in accordance with GB/T 3293 are regarded as compliance with this clause. Note: Enterprise should reasonably adopt GB/T 3293, otherwise cannot claim the compliance with this standard. In general, testing institutes will not take the responsibility to identify whether or not comply with this standard.. 5.1.3 Marking shall meet the requirement of QB/T 2673. 5.1.4 Footwear materials shall meet the requirement of relevant product standards. For example leather and fur shall meet the requirement of GB 20400; accessories shall meet the requirement of QB/T 4108-2010. 5.1.5 There should be no any defects which will influence wearing use. 5.2 Appearance quality Appearance quality shall meet the requirements listed in table 1, where No.1~No.4 items and serious defects are main items and others are secondary items. Note 2: For the same pair of shoe, upper length difference over 6.5 mm, quarter height difference over 5.5 mm for low cut shoe, over 7.5 mm for other shoes are serious defects. 5.3 Physical and mechanical performance requirements 5.3.1 Upper/sole peeling strength or bottom wall/upper peeling strength 5.3.1.1 No test for sewn, bonded & sewn athletic shoes. 5.3.1.2 Requirement for upper/sole peeling strength or bottom wall/upper peeling strength are given in table 2. The grey scale meet the requirement of GB/T 251.
