本标准代替GB/T 4928-2001《啤酒分析方法》。
本标准规定了啤酒产品的分析方法。本标准适用于各类啤酒产品的检测。
本标准与GB/T 4928-2001相比主要变化如下：
———去掉感官评价中评酒环境按GB/T 13868和评酒员按GB/T 14195执行两条款；
———将原标准中净含量负偏差改为净含量；
———增加了第二法　分光光度计法；
———泡持性的测定，秒表法中规定了倒酒满杯时间；
———酒精度的测定，气相色谱法中将内标“正丙醇”改为“正丁醇”；
———双乙酰的测定，将玻璃比色皿改为石英比色皿；
———将生产企业需要自行控制的一些指标的分析方法，仍作为附录C列出，供企业参考。
