Introduction of QB/T 1588.1-1992

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules for weldments of light industry machinery. This standard is applicable to such weldments that are used for light industry machinery and are made from such materials as carbon structural steel, low alloy structural steel and stainless steel by electric arc welding, gas shielding arc welding and other proper methods. Other welding materials and welding methods may also be adopted by making reference to this standard. This standard is not applicable to pressure vessels.
