1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as packaging, transportation and storage of children's leather sandals.
This standard is applicable to daily wearing children's leather sandals made by various processes with upper made of natural leather, artificial leather, synthetic leather and textile materials.

3 Terms and Definitions
For the purpose of this standard, terms and definitions given in GB/T 2703 and the following apply.
3.1
Infant's leather sandals
Leather sandals whose shoe sizes not greater than 170mm and for infants under 3 years old.
3.2
Children's leather sandals
Leather sandals whose shoe sizes not greater than 250mm and for children in 3 to 14 years old.
3.3
Closed sandals
Sandal uppers are basic integrity, no large area through the air, and usually made with hollow, narrow leather lace woven materials, meet the requirements of the cool and air permeability.
3.4
Open sandals
Sandal uppers with one or two incomplete areas at toe part, internal and external flank part and heel part; uppers with larger open, which can be classified into different types: front open, rear open, medium open, front closed and rear open, front and rear closed but medium open.
3.5
Stripe sandals
Uppers made with stitching or knitting strips in different kinds of width; as compared with open sandals, stripe sandals with more exposed areas, and more flexible combination between strips. Stripe sandals can be classified into front stripe, rear strip and other concrete types.
4 Classification
According to the upper materials, children's leather sandals can be classified into natural leather (top layer leather and split leather), artificial leather, synthetic leather, textiles and multiple materials sandals.
According to the upper structures, children's leather sandals can be classified into closed sandals, open sandals and stripe sandals.
According to the using objects, leather sandals can be classified into children's leather sandals and infant's leather sandals.
5 Requirements
5.1 General requirements
5.1.1 Shoe size shall meet requirements of GB/T 3293.1.
5.1.2 Shoe last sizes shall meet the requirements of GB/T 3293-2007.
5.1.3 Product markings shall meet the requirements of QB/T 2673.
5.2 Appearance quality
The appearance quality requirements are detailed in Table 1. In which, items 1-5 are major items, items 6-10 are secondary items.
