Bridge inspection vehicle 1 Scope This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic specifications, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, instructions for use and accompanying documents, transportation, and storage of bridge inspection vehicles. This standard is applicable to folding, truss and mixed bridge inspection vehicles modified with finalized stereotyped automobile chassis. Reference may be made to this standard for bridge inspection vehicles of other types or with special requirements. 2 Normative References The following normative documents contain provisions which, through reference in this text, constitute provisions of this standard.
