1 Scope This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, inspection methods and rules, and marking, rust prevention, packaging, storage and transportation of spheroidal graphite castings (hereinafter referred to as "castings"). This standard is applicable to common and low alloy spheroidal graphite castings of sand mold or mold with equivalent thermal conductivity with sand mold for rolling stock (including railway crane).
