All the technical contents of this standard are mandatory. This standard is developed in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB 17930-2013 Gasoline for Motor Vehicles. The following technical changes have been made with respect to GB 17930-2013 (the previous edition): ——Paragraph 2 in Chapter 1 Scope "This standard is applicable to gasoline for motor vehicles made of liquid hydrocarbons or the combination of liquid hydrocarbons and service performance improved additives" is revised as: "This standard is applicable to gasoline for motor vehicles used for spark-ignition engine and derived from petroleum or derived from petroleum and added with additives improving performance" (see Chapter 1; Chapter 1 in 2013 edition); ——Technical requirements and test methods of gasoline (III) for motor vehicles are deleted (see Table 1 in 2013 edition); technical requirements of gasoline (VI) for motor vehicles are added, and are classified into VIA and VIB (see Tables 3 and 4); ——"During change of season, 15 days is allowed for replacement in gas station" is added in the vapor pressure requirements (see Tables 1, 2, 3, 4, A.1 and A.2; Tables 2, 3 and A.1 in 2013 edition); ——Technical requirements for gasoline (V) for motor vehicles are modified (see Tables 2 and A.1; Tables 3 and A.1 in 2013 edition); ——The requirement that the vapor pressure in summer is implemented throughout the year in Guangxi region is deleted, since Guangxi region is within the implementation area of ethanol gasoline for motor vehicles (see Tables 2, 3, 4, A.1 and A.2; Table 3 and Table A.1 in 2013 edition); ——Chapter 9 Standard Implementation is modified (see Chapter 9; Chapter 9 in 2013 edition); ——Table A.2 is added (see Table A.2). This standard was proposed by the National Energy Administration. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Subcommittee on Petroleum Fuels and Lubricants of National Technical Committee on Petroleum Products and Lubricants of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC 280/SC 1). Previous editions of this standard are as follows: GB 17930-1999, GB 17930-2006, GB 17930-2011 and GB 17930-2013. Gasoline for Motor Vehicles Warning: If suitable precautionary measures are not observed, the products in this standard may be at risk in the process of production, transportation, handling, storage and application, etc. This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, and the user is responsible to take suitable safety and precautionary measures and ensure the compliance with relevant national laws and regulations. 1 Scope This standard specifies term and definition, product classification, requirements and test methods, sampling, marking, packaging, transportation and storage, safety and standard implementation of gasoline for motor vehicles. This standard is applicable to gasoline for motor vehicles used for spark-ignition engine and derived from petroleum or derived from petroleum and added with additives improving performance 2 Normative References The following documents are indispensable for the application of this document. Introduction of GB 17930-2016
Codeofchina.com is in charge of this English translation. In case of any doubt about the contents of English translation, the Chinese original shall be considered authoritative.
