1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, ordering information, classification and designation, dimensions, appearance and permissible deviation, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packing, marking and quality certificate of stainless steel wires.
This standard is applicable to stainless steel wires (hereinafter referred to as "steel wires"), however, the austenite and PH stainless spring steel wires as well as the stainless steel wires for cold upsetting and welding are excluded.
